Staying motivated during Matric, especially during exams is *#$!% hard!

So here are some things to remember when you just donโ€™t want to study ๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ™ƒ

You are SO LUCKY to be writing matric ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–

Only 40% of South Africans over 20 have a matric. So only 4 in 10 people who are over 20 got matric.

That means that you are actually incredibly lucky to get the opportunity to write matric at all. Donโ€™t waste this AMAZING opportunity โ€“ many other people will never get it.

When you donโ€™t feel like studying remember what an incredible opportunity writing matric really is.

Getting a matric can help you get ๐Ÿ’ฐ๐Ÿ’ฐ๐Ÿ’ฐ

But if you need a bit more motivation โ€“ remember that South Africans with a degree earn 330% more than those without a degree. Yes, thatโ€™s not a typo. 330%!

So you absolutely want to make sure that you can get into university if you want to!

But to get that ๐Ÿ’ฐ๐Ÿ’ฐ๐Ÿ’ฐ you need to get good marks!

But to get into university you are going to need at least a Bachelorโ€™s Pass in matric. Whatโ€™s a Bachelorโ€™s Pass? Itโ€™s when you get:

  • at least 40% for your Home Language
  • at least 50% for four other High Credit subjects. Must obtain
  • at least 30% for two other subjects

BUT most universities require that you get more than just a Bachelorโ€™s pass, and need you to have good marks in all your subjects.

Soooโ€ฆ you should go study.๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰

Keep studying, donโ€™t give up, you got this. ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–
