If you’re a Capitec user, you can pay for your FoondaMate Plan via the Capitec App. It’s as easy as sending money to your friends and family.

How to pay FoondaMate from the Capitec App
Add FoondaMate as a beneficiary
You can login to the Capitec App and add the FoondaMate Capitec Business account as beneficiary like this:
Make your payment
After you’ve added the FoondaMate Capitec Business account as a beneficiary, you can follow these steps to make a payment for your FoondaMate Plan:
I’ve already paid and I’m not getting an answer
Make sure you use the same WhatsApp number that you use when chat with FoondaMate as the beneficiary reference.
This will make it easier to match your payment to your WhatsApp number so you can get back to using FoondaMate ASAP.
Where do I find my proof of payment on the Capitec App
If you still can’t use FoondaMate after paying via Capitec, send an email to the FoondaMate team at [email protected] to get your account activated.
You might need to send them your proof of payment so that they can match your payment to your WhatsApp number.
You can follow these steps to find your proof of payment on the Capitec App:
If your app doesn’t allow you to take a screenshot, you can press “Send Payment Notification” and send yourself an email with the proof of payment.
And then, you can send this via email to the FoondaMate team at [email protected] so they can match your payment to your WhatsApp number and activate your account.
Can I pay from another bank?
Of course! You can use any bank to pay for your FoondaMate Plan, including Tymebank and Nedbank.
No matter which bank you pay from, make sure you use these banking details whenever you want to pay for your FoondaMate Plan:
Account Number: 1051587590
Branch Code: 470010 or the branch code automatically added on your banking app
Bank: Capitec Business — you should select ‘Capitec Business’ not just ‘Capitec Bank’
Beneficiary reference: your WhatsApp number
